Spring Lotus zisha teapot art by Jiang Mei Zhen, Yixing, China The simple smooth lines and the slightly low, rounded profile of this teapot present a soothing look.  Then, on the top, there is a delicate lotus leaf and a frog by its stem. Jiang Mei Zhen makes many teapots that we like, and she is one of our most popular artists both because of her sense of style and because her prices have not yet become unreasonable, like too many other teapot artists, these days. 	82a.	Stone Dipper teapot with calligraphy by Zheng Qiu Biao, Yixing This trapezoidal profile is a classic shape from the Qing Dynasty.  The Chinese calligraphy, carved into the sides, is also done by Zheng Qiu Biao, who is also known for his calligraphy painting. This won an award for Biao and is also the same style teapot by Gu Jing Zhou, an artist from the early part of the 20th century that recently sold for $2 million at auction.
